Hi! I'm Meagan, thanks for stopping by. I wear many different hats: wife, photographer, homeschooling mom, gym rat (sort of), bookworm, and lover of all things that reflect truth and beauty. This photography endeavor is truly a labor of love, and I work hard to infuse my heart and soul into the photos I take, so have a look around!

WHY I DO THIS

Back in 2017, I picked up a camera to document the lives of my three little girls, so I could better remember those sweet moments of learning, playing, and growing. As it turned out, I ended up loving the ability to freeze a little piece of time, and those photos hold some of my most precious memories. Your family story is unfolding every minute of the day, and no matter what season of life you're in, you'll be able to look back at a photo and find joy in the precious time you were given with the ones closest to you.

HOW i WORK

My brand of photography is a blend of lifestyle and documentary, which means I will spend time gently prompting and guiding you in order to create beautiful images that are both natural and emotionally resonant. What does that mean? You'll never wonder what to do with your hands, you'll be interacting with your loved ones, I'll place you in such a way that the light illuminates your face, and you won't look or feel awkward in photos. My highest priority is to make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and to encourage you to be present in the moment, whether it's with your little one, your husband, or your whole family. Having spent many years working with children, as a mother, a teacher, and photographer, I have been able to hone the gift of putting others at ease and drawing out their personalities in an organic way that yields lovely, authentic photos.

Fun Facts about me

I start every morning with a cup of English breakfast tea.

My house is full (to bursting) of books that I began collecting as a kid due to a voracious appetite for literature.

I love traveling to other countries, and anytime I do, I make it a point to go grocery shopping at whatever local market happens to be around, just so I can see what sort of foods the locals enjoy.

My love language is feeding people, and anytime someone needs a meal, my go to is homemade chicken soup (with stellini) and a loaf of french bread.

If I had a super power, it would be the ability to immediately play any instrument I picked up.
